Since over 30 years I draw and direct construction works: the charm of architecture and the compelling complexity of this job are my best friends, trustworthy and beloved companions of life.

Eeach time I am given a new appointment and I face a new project I climb the steps of the “tower of ideas” and I have the chance of spending time in close contact with knowledge, images, discovery and innovation, until I reach the sign on the white paper that will give life to a place, a building, a city.

It’s that sign that sparks the project, which will then be followed by the calculations and checks needed for the second part of the job, that of construction. Here comes the time of the construction site, of the transformation in the space, of the space.

The first day in the construction site always has a particular perfume, of mortars, woods, sands and men. My work life happens between the tower of ideas and the fragrance of the construction site. And it keeps self-renovating. Every new occasion of uniting the two aspects is a special joy, a new step in my architecture.
