“Il Granaio” resort

Located in a wonderful panoramic point at the top of the hills over Città della Pieve, this holiday-residential tourist resort has been an innovative intervention uniting construction technologies with wooden load-bearing structures with finishes and morphologic characteristics which are typical of the local tradition.

The overall planned and constructed project displays features more typical of a village than of a touristic allotment, with a great compositional variety and a special harmony between “rural tradition” and modern style. The whole construction and plant design has been set up with the objective of reaching energy classification A, therefore resorting to choices and combinations of materials and technologies capable of employing renewable energies in the best ways possible.
