“La Quercia” Cooperative of Roverbella (MN)

Appointed by a social support cooperative which has been active in supplying specialized assistance to the disabled for years, I have planned and collaborated with the supervision of the construction of a new activity centre.

The centre for disabilities of Roverbella

This project has united the attainment of various functional necessities within a context which would give the strongest possible perception of “feeling at home”, and therefore not an alien environment, as a decisive factor of successful rehabilitation therapies. The use of symbolic elements such as the central square and the attention to the aspects of play and colours have therefore been an important part of the project’s success, along with the use of harmonic proportions and the energetic values of spaces.
